Adysas Scientific Software Solutions is a technology start-up company. At AdySas, we are primarily great problem solvers. We develop software products to solve cutting-edge technological and societal problems. At the moment, we develop premium quality web-applications products using a blend of computational science, machine learning, and disruptive software technologies. The application domains span sustainability, energy, health care, and agriculture. Our team comprises well-trained professionals from various backgrounds, from India, Europe, and North America. We are hard-working, knowledgeable, inquisitive, ever willing to learn, and always willing to disrupt.

Like any organization, AdySas has a mission and vision. Figuratively, the four pillars currently form the backbone of our organization. They are described below in the increasing order of subtlety. We leave it to the reader to imagine how big of a structure can be built with four pillars. The opportunities are endless.

Web-application technologies

Software engineering (or industry) has undergone one of the historical disruptions in the current decade. Advances in Web/Mobile applications development, cloud technologies, SaaS (Software as a Service) models, modern-day DevOps framework, etc have given software product development a new face. Development, testing, licensing, software updates, and deployment have all been immensely benefitted. It is a win-win situation for both software developers and consumers.

Computers are going to be connected to the cloud at phenomenal speeds. Today’s browsers are incredibly powerful capable of running heavy applications. Web-based applications are the best medium to disseminate the solutions to the end-user. In the near future, solutions that require computational science/engineering will also follow the same trend.

AdySas team has sound knowledge in various stack technologies (Node and python based), backend and frontend frameworks, DevOps, databases, microservices, containerization, etc. We take pride of our experience in putting these technologies to practice. AdySas has already laid the foundation for the next big web technology - web assembly.

Machine learning

Machine learning (ML) is used to obtain insights, knowledge, or develop predictive or classification models, by learning from data. ML can be used to solve many real-life problems. As can be seen, all around, ML has had unimaginable successes over the past decade.

Most of the foundations of machine learning were laid even before 70 years. However, advances in tools and computational power have lead to the proliferation and accessibility of ML in the last decade.

At AdySas, we are proficient with various ML techniques including deep learning, neural networks, reinforcement learning, statistical models, etc. We specifically give emphasis on not using ML as a black box. The foundations are being laid right to frame the ML problem correctly and use them appropriately.

Computational Science

As mentioned above, our goal is to solve cutting-edge problems in science and engineering. To achieve this, we should not only know how to formulate problems mathematically but also solve them computationally.

Many problems in science and engineering are formulated as mathematical problems – this is called mathematical modeling. Various types of mathematical models exist. For instance, they can be ‘algebraic’ in nature or based on ‘differential equations.’ They can be ‘deterministic’ or ‘probabilistic’.

Once the formulation is completed, these mathematical models are solved for obtaining or predicting the quantities of interest. However, the solution of the mathematical models describing real-life problems are generally complex and need advanced computational algorithms to solve. The entire process of mathematical modeling and its computational solution is termed Computational Science or Scientific computing. Computational Science is said to be the third mode of Science after Theoretical and Experimental Sciences! Computational science has had a tremendous impact on many real-life applications.

One has to understand the differences between Machine learning and Computational Science. The twin combination of ML and Computational Science to solve problems is a differentiating factor of AdySas.

Our underlying mission is to solve tough problems using technology for the betterment of society or humanity. With technology, we earnestly aim to give back to society, humanity and nature our dues.

Our beliefs drive our mission. Spirituality and Science not separate, but the two wings of the same bird, as described by Her Holiness Mata Amritanandamayi Devi. Both Spirituality and Science try to unravel the secrets of the Universe. Nature teaches us to give rather than to take. Adyaatmic refers to spirituality while Sastra roughly translates to science. Hence our name AdySas.
